Our Curriculum is designed for the children of Nine Acres Primary!
By Striving for Excellence, we believe all children can achieve to the best of their abilities and we have created a curriculum that is not only knowledge rich that will provide a solid foundation, but one that will allow children to put their knowledge into action and develop skills and talents in all aspects of school life and beyond. Our children will positively influence their world around them and their future success through becoming articulate, passionate and persuasive individuals. The importance of Reading, Writing, Number and Spoken Language (Oracy) skills runs through the core of the Nine Acres curriculum.
By creating a curriculum that allows children to develop knowledge in all subject areas as well as build a rich cultural capital, children will experience the awe and wonder of the world and find their place in society.
We fulfil our duties under the Equalities Act 2010 and the Special Educational Needs and Disability regulations 2014 by ensuring that all children receive their full entitlement to a broad and balanced curriculum. All children at Nine Acres receive individual feedback and support about their learning so they can show their knowledge and skills to the best of their ability and can make progress from their individual starting points.
